AWS Certified Developer – Associate (DVA-C02)
Practice Exams & Mock Tests
DVA-C02 is the exam that assumes you write the code. It goes deeper on Lambda, IAM permissions, SDK behaviour, deployment pipelines and what to do when something fails in production than the architect exams do. Our Developer Associate practice exams and mock tests are weighted to the official domains and written around the failure modes the exam actually asks about — throttling, cold starts, permission boundaries and retry behaviour.
What DVA-C02 actually tests.
These are the official domains and their weightings. Our mock exams draw questions in the same proportions, and your results are broken down the same way — so a weak domain here is a weak domain on exam day.

Practising for a different AWS exam?
DVA-C02 questions people ask.
Is the Developer Associate harder than Solutions Architect Associate?
It is not harder overall, but it is deeper in a narrower area. SAA-C03 rewards breadth across services; DVA-C02 rewards knowing how a handful of services behave in detail — especially Lambda, IAM, DynamoDB and the deployment tooling.
What is the passing score for DVA-C02?
725 out of 1000, slightly higher than the Solutions Architect Associate's 720. Our mock exams report the same scaled score against that threshold.
Do I need to write code to pass DVA-C02?
You are not asked to write code in the exam, but the questions assume you have. Answers hinge on how SDKs retry, how permissions resolve and how a deployment rolls back — details you pick up from building, not from reading.
