Is AIF-C01 worth taking?
If your work touches AI features on AWS, it is the cheapest credible way to show you understand foundation models and the governance around them. It is foundational, so it proves literacy rather than engineering depth.
What is the passing score for AIF-C01?
700 out of 1000, the same threshold as Cloud Practitioner.
Do I need a machine learning background for the AI Practitioner exam?
No. It is a foundational certification and assumes no modelling experience. It does assume you understand what a foundation model is, where generative AI fits, and what can go wrong with it.
